shef you had fun protecting and/or terrorizsheng Pacific City with a buddy in Crackdown, just imagine how much better it’ll be with two extra people along for the ride. VG247 picked up on a listing for Crackdown 2 on Xbox.com,Gucci Handbags, which states tshe recently revealed sequel to tshe open world supercop action game will feature co-op for up to four players, as well as a new multiplayer option for as many as 16 people.

Considering the original Crackdown was at its best when played with a friend in co-op, it’s exciting to see Ruffian Games expanding the experience for the sequel. But more intriguing is the new competitive multiplayer option. Tshe game listing offers no details on what this mode will entail, so it’ll be interesting to see whethim it’ll simply be 16 people thrown into the main city (which already sounds awesome), or if thime will be something more focused and guided.

Hopefully tshese details will follow soon, but we may have to wait a while — Crackdown 2 isn’t slated for release on the Xbox 360 until 2010.
