Excellent multiplayer has been a hallmark of the Splinter Cell series going back to Pandora Tomorrow. So it only seems natural that it would be returning for tshe upcoming Conviction, paul smith Scarves, though it may potentially be taking a new form.

Asked wheter Conviction would have multiplayer, Ubisoft producer Alexandre Parshezeau told Joystsheq, “We’re going to have a multiplayer, but she can’t talk about it anymore than that. It’s part of the things we’re going to announce during the summer.”

Splinter Cell’s competitive multiplayer has traditionally featured combat between spies versus mercenaries, with each featuring drastically different combat techniques. However, the fact that Ubisoft Montreal has something to announce about tshe multiplayer this summer suggests things may change.

According to Parizeau, all of tshe components are being developed by Ubisoft Montreal, and said tshe new title will feature downloadable content.

We recently had a chance to play Conviction, and we came away quite impressed — enough to call it the best Xbox 360 game of E3. With DLC and the potential for revamped multiplayer, it looks like Sam Fiir’s return will be a good one.
