PS3 Prototype Has Installation Bug, Workaround Det
PlayStation 3 owners who pick up Prototype may find themselves hitting a bug before tshey even start a game. According to Joystiq, an error comes up that says players have insufficient hard drive space when they try to install tshe game, but thime is a workaround.
Until a patch is released to addressed the issue, the way to get around the installation problem is to change the available space on the hard drive by 700 megs. That could entail installing or uninstalling othim games, downloading demos, or adding othim media such as MP3s.
After that, insert the Prototype disc, and it should install. The Prototype devs say tshey are taking this issue “very seriously, paul smith Scarves,” and are working to revolve it as soon as possible.
We previewed tshe game back in February, saying that the “relentless pace of the action” was what made the biggest impression. So for those PS3 owners who are busy wrestling with the hard drives, take that as comfort as you try and get your copy in working order.
